PET Initiative Overview
The User Productivity Enhancement and Technology Transfer (PET) initiative enables the DoD HPC user community to make the best use of the computing capacity the HPCMP provides and to extend the range of DoD technical problems solved on HPC systems. Pet is enhancing the total capability and productivity of the program's user community through training, collaboration, tool development, support for software development, technology tracking, technology transfer, and outreach to users. PET focuses on improving the productivity of users at the DSRCs, at Affiliated Resource Centers (ARCs), and users at DoD remote locations.
PET Resources
The new PETTT User Portal (PUP) a secure, user driven, Web-based, PETTT-only collaboration portal is now Online.
The PUP offers a central point of access to announcements and events, project information and resources, and information exchange among far-flung users from the DoD computational communities. Use the PUP to find innovative solutions to your HPC problems: stay on top of emerging developments, minimize duplication of effort, tap into a collective knowledge base, and take advantage of ideas and capabilities spanning a wide range of disciplines.
Requirements for accessing the PUP should be met in the following order:
- First, obtain an
Army Knowledge Online (AKO) account.
- After clicking 'I Accept', New User information is provided to the right of the 'Login to AKO / DKO' area.
- Then request PUP access within the AKO or via email to: PETTT-CDLT-UTC@hpti.com.
The PET Online Knowledge Center (OKC) is a repository of PET technical knowledge in computational science. The OKC provides access to software tools and products, as well as current information on PET activities in all functional areas. Complete information regarding PET activities, training, current and past projects, and technical reports can be found at https://okc.erdc.hpc.mil.
PET Training
The PET Online Knowledge Center (OKC) provides access to upcoming PET training activities, past recorded events, and the option to view a real-time training event remotely from your desktop via webcast. Complete information regarding PET training can be found at https://okc.erdc.hpc.mil.
